WHAT IS A PERMANENT RESIDENT’S CERTIFICATE (PRC)?

If you have a Permanent Resident’s Certificate (PRC), you have the right to live and work in Bermuda and to purchase property in Bermuda. There is no minimum ARV (Annual Rental Value) requirement on houses or condos, but one cannot purchase a condo that was government sponsored such as Loughlands. The normal conveyance stamp duties and legal fees will apply as will other stand closing costs. Additionally, there is a requirement of a license and applicable license application and fees.
